Auto Translator Google Translate API для OpenCart

The Auto-Translator module allows you to translate all multilingual fields in the OpenCart admin panel (by default). The administrator can translate fields (name, description, title, meta title, keywords, etc.) directly on the edit page or use the automatic bulk translation mode in the module settings.

Google Translate API

There is a fee for using the Google Translate API. However, Google Cloud Platform offers a free trial with a $300 credit for 60 days. This is enough to translate approximately 15 million characters ($20 per 1 million characters).

Content restrictions

Content is passed to the API as text strings. Cost and usage depend on the total number of characters, including spaces.

• 20,000,000 characters per month
• 2,000,000 characters per day
• 100,000 characters in 100 seconds

If the content volume exceeds the limits, the system returns an error. To increase the quota, you can submit a request to the Google Cloud Translation API.

Query Limits

• 1000 requests in 100 seconds
• 800,000 requests per day

If you need to increase your limits, you can submit a request through the Google Cloud console.

Microsoft Translator API

Microsoft Translator has been moved from Datamarket to the Azure portal under the Cognitive Services category (effective October 28, 2016).

The Azure Portal offers:

• Free subscription to the Microsoft Translator API for up to 2 million characters per month
• A free 30-day Azure account with $200 credit for new users
• For existing Azure customers, the option to include a Translator API subscription in their overall Azure bill

Restrictions

• Free limit: 2 million characters per month
• Paid subscription for higher translation volumes
• The limit is 10,000 characters per API call.
