Blocking admins, buyers and partners from entering OpenCart

Login blocking is a reliable tool for OpenCart that closes a loophole for brute-force attacks. Attackers often use automated scripts to guess passwords to accounts by trial and error. If such a hack is successful, customer payment data, administrator logins, and confidential information will be at risk.

How does this work?

The store owner sets the rules himself:

• For each group (buyers, admins, partners) a limit is set for failed login attempts - for example, 5 times in 10 minutes.
• If the limit is exceeded, the system automatically blocks the account. You set the blocking time yourself: 15 minutes, an hour or a day.

This is not just a security patch. This protection works like an emergency stopcock: even if an intruder tries thousands of combinations, after a few mistakes, access will be blocked. Your data remains locked, and your clients are protected.
