Specials and discounts in percent OpenCart

Promotions and Discounts in percentage for OpenCart allows the administrator to specify the promotional price and discount in percentage.

When entering a value in the Percentage field, a calculation is made and a new price is recorded in the Price field. Also, when specifying a value in the Price field, a percentage will be calculated.

Also added display of the percentage for the promotion in the list of products in the Control Panel.

Example:

You have a product with a base price of 1000

• 5% -> Final price 950
• 10% -> Final price 900
• 15% -> Final price 850

Updated. Added new setting.

A new option has been added to the modifier - rounding of kopecks when changing discounts and promotions as a percentage.

How does this work:

• If the option is enabled, then:
• when the price changes, the percentage is automatically rounded to the nearest whole value;
• When entering a percentage with a fraction, the resulting price is rounded.

Example:

• If the base price is 100 and the percentage specified is 11.1%, then the promotional price will be 89.
• If 13.7% is specified, the price will be rounded to 86.
