Return email notification OpenCart

The Return Notify Admin module for OpenCart automatically sends a notification to the administrator about a new return request immediately after a return is processed in the customer dashboard. The administrator receives an email with the return number and a direct link to edit it in the control panel.

What does the module do?

• Intercepts the creation of a return to catalog/controller/account/return.php before redirecting to the success page.
• Looks up the last return_id in the return table (OpenCart DB).
• Generates a link of the following type: admin/index.php?route=sale/return/edit&return_id=....
• Sends an email to the store's main address ( config_email ) and to additional addresses from config_mail_alert.

Data and settings it works with

1. Store name: config_name
2. Store URL: config_url
3. Mail parameters: config_mail_protocol, SMTP host/login/password/port/timeout
4. Recipient addresses: config_email, config_mail_alert list

Recommendation: Add the returns manager's email address to config_mail_alert. This way, return notifications will be sent directly to the right people without having to manually check the admin panel.
