Fast Comment OpenCart Orders

The Fast Comment Order module helps managers quickly fill out order comments in the admin panel. Instead of manually typing the same text (confirmation, thank you, delivery clarification) each time, you create quick comment templates and select the desired option directly from the order card.

Purpose of the module

The solution is simple: the module stores a set of pre-prepared messages and populates them with order details. The selected template then automatically populates the comment field in the order information.

How it works in the admin panel

After installation, a new block/section for managing templates appears in the interface. A drop-down list of quick comments appears next to the comment field on the order card.

• You select a template from the list.
• The module sends an AJAX request to retrieve the template text for the current language.
• The message is converted into ready-made text using macros.
• The result is automatically inserted into the textarea with a comment on the order.

Important: Template texts are edited separately for each store language—this ensures you maintain consistent wording across languages.

Examples of templates with macros

• Payment details: "Dear customer, {customer}. For order No. {num}, you must pay the invoice for the amount of {sum}."
• Confirmation: "Dear {customer}, You have placed order #{num} for {sum}. Thank you for your interest in our store."
• Clarification: "{customer}, order #{num} requires confirmation of details. Amount: {sum}."
• Gratitude: "Thank you, {customer}! We've received order #{num} for {sum}. We'll be back with a status update soon."

Why is the module worth using?

If your store receives a lot of orders and your employees frequently write similar comments, this module becomes an "invisible accelerator." You create communication rules once, and then the system helps you insert the required text quickly and consistently —with the correct parameters for each order.
