Custom OpenCart Website Footer

Custom Footer is a module for OpenCart that helps you quickly tidy up your website's footer: add a logo, neat contact information, social media, and a map without messing with templates or unnecessary coding. This way, visitors can immediately see who you are, how to contact you, and where you are located, making your store appear more vibrant and trustworthy.

Purpose of the module

The module displays a separate custom footer block (at the bottom of the website) with store information. This information is entered in the admin panel and is automatically captured in the storefront. The footer is responsive, using the Bootstrap grid (3/3/6 columns), so the blocks are easily readable on different screen sizes.

What can Custom Footer do?

• Show the store logo (taken from OpenCart settings) and the site name.
• Display welcome/informational text (with HTML support via editor).
• Publish contacts in a clear list: email, address, up to three phone numbers.
• Display working hours on a separate line.
• Add social media links (Font Awesome icons).
• Embed a map (widget, inserted using iframe code).

Data the module works with

• Welcome text – a convenient place to include a short description of the store, its advantages, or a guarantee.
• Address - one line or several lines.
• E-mail (email) - for quick inquiries.
• Telephones (telephone, telephone2, telephone3) - for example, sales department, support, wholesale.
• Working hours (time) - for example: “Mon–Fri 10:00–19:00”.
• Social networks: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.
• Map (maps) - HTML code of the widget/iframe, displayed as a separate block.

Map tip: Paste the widget code (e.g., iframe) into the "Map" field. Recommended dimensions: width 100%, height 220 —this will ensure the block fits correctly in the footer and doesn't bloat the page.
