When an online store offers cumulative discounts or custom terms for regular buyers, manually switching groups quickly becomes a tedious chore. The "Customer Group by Cumulative Total" module automatically assigns customers to the appropriate group based on the total amount of their completed orders.
A simple configuration table appears in the module section, displaying the price ranges and their corresponding customer groups. The administrator sets these criteria once, and the system automatically checks the total of the customer's paid and completed orders against these predefined ranges.
Important: You must click "Save" before using the regrouping button. If a customer's cumulative total lands exactly on a range boundary, the rule might not trigger properly. To prevent this, it is recommended to set your intervals without overlapping or conflicting boundaries. Please see the screenshot for an example of a proper implementation.
The store manager will see the updated group status reflected instantly in the customer's profile. Meanwhile, the customer receives the exact prices, discounts, and custom terms linked to their new tier automatically, without opening support tickets or requiring a manual order history check.
