The "Attached Files on the Product Page" module adds a separate tab to the product page for documents and downloadable files—clean, to the point, and without unnecessary clutter. This is ideal for attaching instructions, certificates, price lists, diagrams, or any other materials that customers need to access directly from the product page.

What does the module do?

• Displays a new tab: «Файлы для скачивания» (для RU), Downloads (EN), Файли для завантаження (UK).
• Pulls files associated with a product from the standard product_to_download links.
• Shows the name, date added and size of the file (if the file is stored locally).
• Supports http/https type links - such "files" are opened as external resources.

How does downloading work?

• For local files, the product/product/download route is added, which returns the file with the correct headers.
• For external links, a direct transition is generated, and the icon changes to “external link”.
• Additionally, the check in the admin panel has been relaxed: not only files in DIR_DOWNLOAD are allowed, but also URLs starting with http.

Important: The tab is only displayed if the product actually has downloads associated with it. There will be no empty tabs.

Where it is especially useful

1. Electronics and technology: instructions, drivers, PDF manuals.
2. Clothing/PPE: certificates of conformity and declarations.
3. B2B catalogues: specifications, commercial proposals, drawings, price lists.

Recommendation: Give files descriptive names (e.g., "PDF Instructions," "EAC Certificate"), and use local files for larger documents—this way, the buyer will see the file size and quickly understand what they're downloading.

• The 128 character file name limit has been increased to 255.
