List of categories with checkboxes in the OpenCart product form

The modifier replaces the category selection field in the product form with a checkbox list. It's useful when a product is often linked to multiple sections and you don't want to enter the category name each time using autocomplete, especially when there are a lot of categories and you don't know them all by heart.

Categories are displayed in the product card

After installation, a scrollable list of all categories appears in the admin panel. The desired sections are checked, and those already selected for a product are displayed immediately when the card is opened.

Without any extra searching, the manager sees the entire list and can uncheck or check several boxes before saving.

What's changing in the admin panel?

A clear selection box appears in place of the input line. Editing remains in the same form; there's no need to navigate to other sections of the admin panel.
