Default extension type for OpenCart

This module solves a simple but annoying problem in the OpenCart admin panel: it sets the default extension type when opening the "Extensions" page. You no longer need to manually switch the filter to the desired section each time—the system immediately opens the type you work with most often.

Purpose of the module

• Automatically select the extension type when entering the extension list.
• Reduce clicks in the daily work of the administrator.
• Make navigation through extensions faster and more predictable.

Main functions

• Adds a "Default Type" setting in the store settings section (admin → Setting).
• Picks up the selected value and substitutes it into the extension page controller instead of an empty or fixed module.
• Automatically generates a list of available extension types based on actual controllers and user rights.

How to use (short example)

1. Open the store settings in the admin panel.
2. Find the "Extensions" block.
3. In the Default Type field, select the desired one (for example, payment, delivery, modules ).
4. Save - now the add-ons page will open with the selected type.
