Dependence of payment methods on delivery OpenCart

Payment Method Dependence on Delivery – This module solves a common problem for online stores: not all payment methods are suitable for all delivery options. For example, you might want to display cash and payment terminals for "Pickup," but only online payment for "Courier." The module adds a convenient setting directly in the admin panel and automatically hides unnecessary payment methods during checkout.

What does the module do?

• Allows you to link payment methods to each delivery method (at the delivery code level).
• In checkout, it shows the buyer only the allowed payment methods for the selected delivery.
• Stores settings in the store configuration as an array disabled_payments.

Where is it configured?

An additional "Payment Methods" button appears in the list of delivery methods in the admin panel. Clicking it reveals a list of active payment modules with checkboxes. Saving occurs without reloading the page (AJAX).

Important: This module only affects the display of payment methods during the payment selection step. This reduces the number of "incorrect" orders and customer confusion.

Application examples

1. Cash on delivery - show only for "Mail delivery".
2. Cash payment - leave only for "Courier" and "Pickup".
3. Online payment - enable for all deliveries except "Pickup" (if not required).
