Auto Change / Switch Customer Group OpenCart

This module allows you to automatically change or switch customer groups based on their total number of orders and/or time.

With its help, customers will be moved to the groups you need without having to manually calculate and change them. You can also use this module to change or reset customer groups by time. This greatly simplifies the management of the online store.

The OpenCart system allows you to offer various special conditions (discounts, special prices, etc.) to customers depending on their group. Using customer groups can encourage users to make more purchases. The more often they order, the better the customer group and the more favorable the conditions they receive.

Rules for changing groups

By specific date

Change customer group if total number of orders:

• Reached / Less than the specified value
• In the specified period from [...] to [...]
• Executed once per [...]
• With a specific order status

Recurring change (monthly/annually)

Change customer group if total number of orders:

• Reached / Less than the specified value
• At a certain period (monthly / annually)

(You can leave the fields blank if you want to use the default settings)

Examples of use

I. Normal change

Transferring a client to another group when a certain number of orders is reached.

Example:

• Changing group from [...] to [...]
• If the total number of orders has reached [...]
• Date type: specific date
• Start date (optional), end date: -
• Executed once when the order status is [...]
• Notification Type: Promotion

II. Periodic increase

Automatically transfer a client to a new group if their orders reach the target level for a certain period (for example, monthly).

III. Periodic decrease

Moving a client to a lower group if the number of orders has not reached the target level during the specified period.

IV. One-time reduction

Transferring a client to another group if he/she has not reached the target number of orders in a certain period.

V. Change by date

Automatically change the client group on a specific date.

Before installing on OpenCart 3, you must first install the advanced installer.
