Intuitive Shipping is a flexible shipping calculation module for OpenCart. This module is essential when standard shipping methods are no longer sufficient. Intuitive Shipping allows you to create a clear yet powerful pricing system: from simple cart-total rates to complex rules with conditions based on products, customers, geozones, and even distance.

What the module can do

• Create unlimited shipping rates with your own name, sorting, and tax class.
• Calculate delivery based on cart or product values: quantity, amount, weight, volume, dimensions, volumetric weight, distance.
• Work by geozones: for each zone, you can set your own calculation type and rate table.
• Take into account the requirements (conditions) for the basket, products, client and other parameters (currency, day of the week, date, time).
• Combine tariffs into groups and combine them using formulas: SUM / AVG / MIN / MAX.
• Per Product Shipping integration: add, replace, or ignore these costs.

What data does it work with?

• Products: SKU/model, weight, dimensions, volume, categories, manufacturer, options, attributes, balance.
• Cart: total (with/without tax), quantity, total dimensions/weight, volumetric weight.
• Buyer: group, address, postcode (including ranges, logic for UK formats), custom fields.
• Geography: geofences, as well as distance (via Google Directions/Geocode with caching).

Important: when calculating by distance, you must specify the departure address, and for volumetric weight, the delivery coefficient.

Practical examples

1. Free delivery only for cart totals over UAH 5,000 and orders weighing up to 10 kg.
2. Separate rates for fragile goods by category/attribute + escalating fee.
3. Delivery by distance: the further from the warehouse, the higher the cost.
4. Combination: packaging + courier delivery = one final price according to the formula.
