Delivery methods in the product card OpenCart

The Delivery Methods module in the product page adds a convenient section to the product page with available delivery methods and their costs. Customers select a region and immediately see how you're willing to ship their order and for how long. Fewer support questions and more confidence before purchasing.

What does the module do?

• Shows the "Delivery" block directly on the product card.
• Pulls and displays all active shipping methods from the store (shipping extensions).
• Can work with region selection: country/zone (region, state, etc.).
• Updates the calculation dynamically when the quantity and options of the product change.
• Displays data in a neat list: name, description, logo (if passed), price.

What data and operations does it work with?

1. Takes module settings from system settings (estimate_shipping_*).
2. Uses buyer session: shipping_address / payment_address.
3. Requests a list of countries and zones and generates a delivery address for calculation.
4. Gets delivery "quotas" via connected delivery modules and sorts them by sort_order.

Important: To ensure accurate calculations, the module temporarily adds the selected item to the cart, retrieves delivery options, and then returns the cart to its original state.

If you sell products with different logistics (size, weight, regions), enable "Region Selector" —buyers can quickly find their region and see precise options. For minimalist product cards, use "Collapse Block" mode and leave a short description like "Calculate shipping to your region."
