Multilingual Meta Tags for the OpenCart Homepage

The "Multilingual Meta Tags" module solves one of the most common problems faced by multilingual OpenCart stores: it displays different Meta Title/Description/Keywords for the homepage depending on the selected language. As a result, search engines and users see the correct titles and descriptions, rather than a "universal" text in one language.

What does the module do?

• Substitutes Meta Title, Meta Description, Meta Keywords according to the current language (taken from the session).
• If necessary, adds meta tags for social networks: Twitter Card and Facebook Open Graph.
• Outputs additional meta tags to the template header automatically.

What data does it work with?

• Twitter: status, card type, @username.
• Facebook: status, website name, App ID.
• General image for Twitter/Facebook (recommended ~ 2:1, eg 1024×512).

Important: This module extends the Document class and adds support for displaying custom meta tags. If the modification fails to install, a warning will appear in the admin panel.
