YouTube and Vimeo videos in OpenCart products

The YouTube and Vimeo Video module in the product page adds a neat video review to the product page: you paste the copied YouTube code in the admin panel, and on the storefront, the customer opens the video in a convenient modal window by clicking the "Video Review" button. This solution is especially useful when you need to quickly build trust and showcase the product in person without unnecessary extensions and complex setup.

Purpose of the module

The main goal is to give you the ability to attach a video to each product (separately for each language) and display it beautifully on the product page in OpenCart 3.x.

What the module can do

• Adds the "Product Video" field to the product editing form (language description tab).
• Supports inserting embed code (e.g. YouTube/Vimeo/any iframe).
• Allows you to specify the video dimensions - width and height (W × H).
• Displays a "Video Review" button on the showcase and opens the video in a Bootstrap modal.
• Automatically stops playback when the window is closed (resets src) so that the video does not continue playing in the background.
• Works in multilingual stores: RU/EN/UK language strings added.

Important: The video field is designed specifically for embed code. This is convenient for YouTube/Vimeo and services that provide iframes/embed code.

What does it look like for the buyer?

If the video is full, a button appears on the product page. Click it, and a modal window opens with the video. Close it, and the video stops. It's all simple and familiar, just like on major marketplaces.
