Deleting unused pictures OpenCart

Needles Image - Unused images are deleted automatically.

Do you have so many images that you need to change your hosting plan? Are all images used? Perhaps most of them were once needed, but now they are no longer needed?

The Remove Unused Images module allows you to check and remove all images that are no longer needed, including their cached versions.

The following images are taken into account:

1. Product images including extras
2. Category images
3. Manufacturers images
4. Banner images
5. Images from downloads
6. Images from orders
7. Options pictures (if any)
8. Images from Settings
9. Certificate images

If the link to the image was added manually, for example, in the html product description, then such images are not taken into account. Watch carefully what you are deleting and it is best to store the images used in the text of product descriptions in a separate directory / folder.

After installing the module, go to its settings, select a directory to check, click check and here is a list of all unnecessary images.

It is recommended that you back up your image files before deleting images.
