Universal Shipping Methods for OpenCart

If you're tired of creating separate delivery modules for every situation, this module is all about order and speed. "Simple Delivery Methods" lets you create multiple delivery options right in one extension and present them beautifully to customers on the checkout page.

Purpose

The module adds a set of customizable delivery methods, where each method can be enabled/disabled, restricted by geofencing, and set as a fixed price or as a percentage of the cart amount.

Main functions

• Unlimited number of delivery methods (added in the admin panel as a list of tabs).
• Delivery cost: fixed or percentage of the cart amount.
• Free shipping threshold (after the specified amount the price will become 0).
• Geo Zone binding.
• Support tax class for shipping.
• Description field for each method (shown to the buyer).
• Uploading the method icon/image and displaying it in the order form.

What exactly is displayed on the showcase?

• Method name (displayed highlighted, in bold ).
• 24x24 icon next to the title (if set).
• Description on a separate line (if filled in).
• Delivery price or text "Free".

Important: The OCMOD modifier updates checkout templates and adds image and description display to the standard checkout, as well as to the quickcheckout and simplecheckout shipping templates.

Practical recommendations

1. Provide 3-5 clear options: “Courier”, “Pick-up”, “Nova Poshta”, “Express”.
2. For marketing, use the description field: “Delivery 1-2 days”, “Payment upon receipt”.
3. Set the free shipping threshold slightly above the average order value—the module will automatically reset the cost when the cart total exceeds the specified amount.

The end result is neat, visual delivery methods with icons and tooltips—without unnecessary complexity or a ton of extensions.
