OpenCart Flat Rate Shipping

Adds a simple and reliable flat-rate shipping calculation method to your OpenCart store. Essentially, it's a set of flat-rate shipping modules: an extension of the standard "Flat Rate" module, created in 10 clones, so you can simultaneously enable multiple different shipping options—each working independently, with its own settings and conditions.

Purpose

Use this module when you need to show customers a pre-determined shipping cost—without weight/volume formulas or complex rate grids. It's perfect for courier delivery, "city delivery," "pickup with a fee," or as a backup option if external services are unavailable.

Main functions and capabilities

• Fixed delivery cost (set by one digit in the settings).
• Geo Zone Restriction: The method is shown only for the required countries/regions.
• Tax class support for correct display of prices including taxes.
• Setting the status (on/off) and sorting order among other delivery methods.
• Correct output of the final amount: the cost is calculated with tax and formatted in the session currency.

Important: If no geofence is selected (0), the delivery method will be available for all zones. This is convenient for a quick launch, but for precision, it's best to configure the Geo Zone.

Recommendations and application examples

1. Create 2-3 clones for different scenarios: “Courier (city)”, “Pick-up point”, “Delivery within the region”.
2. For each option, set your own fixed delivery cost and link it to the desired geozone.
3. If the price should be displayed "as on the receipt", please indicate the appropriate tax class.

The end result is a clear, fast, and manageable tool: fixed-price delivery without unnecessary complexity, but with the flexibility of 10 independent clones and individual settings in the admin panel.
